CompForce was the military arm of COMPNOR, the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order, the overarching political entity that answered to no one but the Emperor. With the dissolution of much of the Empire, COMPNOR has been disbanded. However, many CompForce legions remain in deep cover, awaiting orders which will likely never come. Other units have been reactivated in some of the Remnant’s more intransigent worlds. In either case, neither branch of the military ever cared much for the pampered CompForce units they encountered.
